The WHI Fiber Arts Library is located in the ABK Weaving Center in the basement of Gaenslen School. Here you will find an extensive collection of books and magazines on weaving and realted arts as well as weaving samples, bulletins and instructional videos. All can be checked out for one month at regular WHI meetings to WHI members. Books and magazines may be renewed for one additional month; however, videos may not be renewed.
Fines for overdue materials are as follows: $2.00/month for magazines, $3.00/month for books and $5.00/month for videos. WHI's policy is to charge the borrower replacement cost for any lost or damaged books, magazines or videos. (NOTE: Many of our library materials are one of a kind and cannot be replaced.) We ask our members to care for their materials and to return them promptly to avoid past-due fines and possible loss or misplacement. If a member cannot return materials at the monthly meetings they may mail them to the Chairperson at the address below.
